Meet Dante, a Aussie/Lab Mix
Dante and his siblings were born at our rescue, shortly after their mama arrived from the Tracy Animal Shelter. We are guessing that these puppies are a lab mix with cattle dog thrown in for good measure. Possibly even some Husky. Although your heart might melt, remember to consult with your brain too before you decide to adopt a puppy. While they are adorable and a lot of fun, puppies are a lot of work and will turn into adults (after going through their teenage years)! We want our adopters to be ready to commit for the life of the dog. Schedule is everything! Do you have the schedule for housetraining and socializing a puppy: You will need to be able to take the puppy out for potty breaks every 3 hours. If you work a full day, a mid-day walk is not enough. In addition, you will need lots of time to spend with your pup playing and socializing. Other Pictures of Dante (click to see larger version):
