Balou is a 4 month old black Lab/Chow mix. 

Balou was surrendered by his owner because his hair was falling out and his owner could not afford medical care. His little guy was very stressed and probably on a poor diet. Since arriving at his foster home, he began a high quality diet and his coat is growing back in nicely. In the best of situations, it will be a few months until Balou is looking 100%. We think those months would be better served in a forever home.

Balou is a fun, playful dog. He is kennel trained, but can still have accidents if left inside too long. He is independent, will quietly play outside with the other dogs, and is very affectionate. Taking naps cradled in your arms are one of his favorite activities. Balou will need plently of excercise. He will be a large boy once grown, so training is important.

We are beginning lease training now, and he thinks they're delicious.

Balou is neutered, micro-chipped, wormed, and vaccinated.

He will be available to met Sunday from 12-3pm at Petco in Santa Rosa.
