Meet Rhonda, a 4 month old Aussie/Shepherd Mix
A momma dog was running scared and abandoned in the farmland around Bakersfield. A compassionate farmer trapped her so she could give birth in his barn. With her and her 8 newborn pups in need of help, California Animal Rescue swooped in and brought them all to Sonoma county safely. The puppies are now 4 months old now and ready for their furever home. Adopters must be patient and willing to help these puppies learn about love and kindness. Although your heart might melt, remember to consult with your brain too before you decide to adopt a puppy. While they are adorable and a lot of fun, puppies are a lot of work and will turn into adults (after going through their teenage years)! We want our adopters to be ready to commit for the life of the dog. Schedule is everything! Do you have the schedule for housetraining and socializing a puppy: You will need to be able to take the puppy out for potty breaks every 3 hours. If you work a full day, a mid-day walk is not enough. In addition, you will need lots of time to spend with your pup playing and socializing. |
