Rainbow Bridge

Chrispa
Chrispa was a wonderful girl that loved to be around her person. She found her forever home but unfortunately, escaped from a dog park thru an open gate and was hit by a car. She is now running free at the Rainbow Bridge. We are so glad that she got to have the love of a real family before she passed and we will always be grateful for the time that we had with her.

Spirit
Spirit was rescued from a high kill shelter with her brothers and sisters. We were told that they had not entered the facility and therefore, not been exposed to diseases like Rabies, Parvo or Distemper. One of our fosters drove all night to rescue these pups. Within a week of their rescue, they started showing signs of illness and were diagnosed with Distemper. These beautiful puppies fought hard to stay alive but in the end, the disease was too much for their little bodies. They were released from this world to a better place in September, 2011. They now roam the Rainbow Bridge, happy and free.

Bruno
Bruno came to us with his brothers and sisters when he was just a baby. Bruno loved to snuggle down in a pillow and snooze. He adored his brother, Brewster and his foster home. Unfortunately, they were exposed to Distemper at the pound they were at or perhaps, where they had been born. He and his brother, Brewster, began to show symptoms of being sick and were quickly diagnosed with Distemper. Sadly, Bruno did not survive. Brewster, now known as Sparta, survived with a serious twitch in his front leg. The leg as amputated but, no worries, Sparta is doing great now and has no idea that he is different when he goes to the dog park to play! Distemper is an ugly, ugly disease and totally preventable with a simple vaccination...
