BEHAVIOR

Dogs: Can get along, but unpredictable.
Cats: Okay with cats, sometimes wants to chase, but easily corrected.
Children: He loves kids, but his possessive nature makes a household with young kids not a fit placement.
Strangers: Loves all people
Energy level: Calm
Walking: Good on a leash. Hates harnesses. Will take off if not on a leash.
House trained: Yes, but will not wait if you don't pick up his clues that he needs to go out.
Tricks: sit, and that's it lol. Very stubborn to learn new tricks, but IS food motivated.
Crate trained: Yes

SUMMARY

Frankie the French Bulldog needs to be in an adult only household (older children are fine). Also, ideally the only dog. He has behavioral issues around possession: food, toys, people. If he wants to keep something, and he feels it may be taken away, he gets nippy. It's possible to navigate these issues by having him in an environment where he is not feeling triggered or threatened (so no other dogs or young kids who do not understand his boundaries). Otherwise he is an incredible dude. Very sweet, cuddly, great on a leash, crate trained, good around cats, calm demeanor, loves loves loves people. He just wants to be a buddy for the right person.
