Cece is a very sweet 5 month old female black lab mix. She was surrendered to us by her owner who could no longer afford to care for her. She needed a couple weeks of TLC and plenty of food. Cece weighed 28 pounds when she arrived and gained a whopping 7 pounds her first week in foster care!

She is going to be a big girl, but still dreams of being a lap dog. She loves to receive affection and is full of puppy playfulness. Although this girl is 5 months, she should still be considered a puppy. She loves to run and play with the big dogs, but a loud noise will send her running back to her foster people for comfort. Like most labs, she often seeks out affection from her people and seemed to thrive on human interaction. She will not strayfar from her people.

Cece is very close to being housetrained and sleeps quietly in a crate at night. She enjoys chewing a toys entertain herself inside the house. She recently learned to sit for treats, and comes promptly when called. She gets along well with other dogs and cats, and has been around children.

When she arrived Cece had an injury on her forhead that is now healing up. She has been medically examined and the hair is beginning to grow back.

She is now spayed, microchipped, dewormed for tape and roundworms, treated for flea and ticks, and vaccinated. 

Cece will be available to meet Sunday from 12-3pm at Petco in Santa Rosa.
