About Lily Bear

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Grooming Needs: Not Required

Meet our newest little girl, Lily Bear.

Lily Bear is a 23 pound, one year old female Lundehund mix. She comes from a very overcrowded shelter where she had little chance of being adopted.

Lily is a Norwegian Lundehound mix, which makes her ideal as a trail dog. Lundehunds were bred to climb rocky terrian to hunt Pippins in their nest. They are known for their flexibility and ability to climb very steep, rocky terrain.

Lily is a very playful girl who will do best in a home with another dog. She is submissive, and has gotten along with every dog she has met since coming into rescue. Although is only weighs 23 pounds, she is active and will need daily exercise.

Lily has not any any house breaking issues or others training problems since arriving. She appears to be a really special dog.

She is now spayed, microchipped, wormed, and current on vaccinations.

Lily will be available to meet Sunday from 12-3pm at Petco in Santa Rosa.
