Astrea (short coat) and Ate (long coat) are 5 mon old, female Lab puppies.  

This litter were brought in as very skinny, very scared, unsocialized puppies about 4 months ago.  They were trapped living underneath the deck of an empty house.  We caught the mother a few days later and she joined her puppies.  Over the past 4 months, they have learned to trust and love people.  

Almost immediately, the litter contracted canine parvovirus ( http://pets.webmd.com/dogs/parvovirus-in-dogs), and coccidia ( http://animalhealthcare.com/handouts/general/coccidiosis.htm).  Astrea and Ate are the two surviving puppies.  These girls are fighters!

They lost tons of weight, but have been gaining it back nicely.  We've held these girls back while they gained their strength back.  Let me tell you, they are strong, active pups again.

Astrea and Ate have been fostered, and nursed back to health, by a family that includes 4 small children.  These girls will make a great addition to any family.  As with any large breed, training is important to develop a well mannered adult dog.

Both puppies are spayed, microchipped, wormed, and current on vaccinations. They have clean bills of health from our vet.

They will be available to meet Sunday from 12-3pm at Petco in Santa Rosa. If you are interested in adopting one of these puppies, you must come to our adoption event and complete an application. They are not available to view until Sunday when they debut.
