Achilles is a  5 mon old male Shepherd/Aussie pup.  

His litter were brought in as very skinny, very scared, unsocialized puppies about 4 months ago.  A dedicated foster bottle fed these little ones until they could eat on their own.  

Almost immediately, the litter contracted canine parvovirus ( http://pets.webmd.com/dogs/parvovirus-in-dogs), and coccidia (http://animalhealthcare.com/handouts/general/coccidiosis.htm).  Achilles, Aeolos, and Asclepius  are the three surviving puppies.  These guys are fighters!

They lost tons of weight, but have been gaining it back nicely.  We've held these boys back while they gained their strength back.  Let me tell you, they are strong, active pups again.

Achilles has  been fostered, and nursed back to health, by a family that includes 4 small children.   This pup will make a great addition to any family.   As with any large breed, training is important to develop a well mannered adult dog.

All puppies are neutered, microchipped, wormed, and current on vaccinations before adoption. He has a clean bills of health from our vet. 

Achilles will be available to meet Sunday from 12-3pm at Petco in Santa Rosa. If you are interested in adopting one of these puppies, you must come to our adoption event and complete an application. They are not available to view until Sunday when they debut.
