Sam is a 10 month old Chocolate Lab that was surrendered to the shelter because his owner could no longer care for him. Sam's favorite activity is playing. The prior owner stated that he knows sit and stay, is friendly to people, likes water, and is outgoing. Sam came from a home with small children, however this is a big boy, older kids would be best.
Since I have had Sam as a foster dog, he has been a very sweet boy. He is good with other dogs, and has allowed my small dog to bully. He does not have an alpha dog personality.
Sam will be neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. We are hoping to neuter him in Santa Rosa on Monday. He has been wormed and is current on vaccinations.
He will be available to meet Sunday from 12-3pm at Petco in Santa Rosa.
California Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) all volunteer nonprofit located in Sonoma County, California.
