Honey colored and honey sweet, Honey, our young Chihuahua mama is ready for her ‘fur’ever home. Her foster mother says, “Honey is, quite possibly, the nicest little dog I have ever had the pleasure to know. She has a sweet and gentle disposition and loves to please.” She gets along with other dogs (though they are unimportant to her happiness—she’d make a great ‘only’).

Honey walks wonderfully well on leash and, when she knows where she’s going, trots along with willing happiness. She’s housebroken, though she may have accidents as she acclimates to a new home. She’s an excellent communicator who’ll let you know when she needs to go out or when she wants to be fed. She’s crate-trained but likes nothing better than to be held. Her foster mother carries her around, cradled like a baby in the crook of her arm (on her back, no less). She wiggles with joy just to be in the presence of someone she loves. A happy, gentle little dog, Honey is truly a blessing.

Honey gets along with most people but she likes women best.

She does best on a dog food high in protein and she likes Greek yogurt and cheese (a lot).
