Meet Brownie, a Terrier/Chihuahua mix.  Mama is an adorable white and tan Chihuahua; papa was a traveling salesman.   Brownie was born on May 9, 2013.  She loves to play with her mamma and sisters.  She loves exploring her world as well.   She loves other dogs but is a little nervous around large dogs if they are aggressive. She does very well with children as long as they know how to handle small puppies.  She loves to be held and will fall asleep in your lap when she is done playing.

Although your heart might melt, remember to consult with your brain too before you decide to adopt a puppy. While they are adorable and a lot of fun, puppies are a lot of work and will turn into adults (after going through their teenage years)! We want our adopters to be ready to commit for the life of the dog.

Schedule is everything! Do you have the schedule for housetraining and socializing a puppy: You will need to be able to take the puppy out for potty breaks every 3 hours. If you work a full day, a mid-day walk is not enough. In addition, you will need lots of time to spend with your pup playing and socializing.
