Sweet dog was found on side of road, very malnourished, covered in fleas, his tail had a very thin layer of skin left on it from all the knawing he'd done to it to relieve the itching from the flea bites, and it was pretty evident that whomever left him had clipped his ears. He was brought to the vet to get cleaned up and cared for as well as any medical needs. The vet estimates he is a pit bull terrier and not more than a year old. The vet says his  skin has to heal from the flea bites, but otherwise has a clean bill of health. He is dewormed, has been given flea meds, and caught up on all vaccinations. 

 We have been calling him Koa.  Koa is a very gentle, sweet, loving boy. He loves making new friends whether you're human, dog, or cat! He has learned to go potty on the grass and he even waits near the back door. He doesn't really bark as he really has not said much and he loves car rides.
